VGLOT Support
Quick checks for caption issues, plus a direct line when you need help.
Before contacting us
Confirm that you are on a public youtube.com/watch page, Chrome is version 116 or newer, your account is connected with Google, and you pressed Start captions in the extension popup. Free includes 30 minutes per UTC month shared with web usage; paid plans offer more time. Wait for caption preparation; version 0.4.1 can show the first 15 seconds of minute one while the remainder prepares. Other minutes keep the existing 60-second flow. Reopening ready captions reuses them. If processing fails, use Retry captions. Completed new intervals count toward quota, including completed prefetch and silence.
Caption accuracy
Results vary with the speaker, language, background noise, and source audio. Select a source language when automatic detection is not reliable.
